Abstract

Abstract: This article presents a clinical and statistical investigation of the concurrent occurrence of juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) and spina bifida sacralis (SBS). The medical records of 211 patients diagnosed with JIA and observed between 2021 and 2024 were analyzed. Spina bifida sacralis was identified in 18 of these patients. This article evaluates the clinical significance of SBS in children with JIA and examines the possible pathogenetic relationship between these two conditions.
