Ushbu maqolada kompyuter tarmoqlarida ma’lumot almashinish
jarayonini tashkil etishda muhim ahamiyatga ega bo‘lgan paketli va kanalli
kommutatsiya texnologiyalarining ishlash prinsiplari, texnik xususiyatlari hamda
ularning o‘zaro farqli jihatlari ilmiy jihatdan tahlil qilingan. Hozirgi kunda axborot
kommunikatsiya texnologiyalarining jadal rivojlanishi, internet tarmoqlari hajmining
kengayishi va ma’lumotlar oqimining ortib borishi tarmoqlarda samarali
kommutatsiya texnologiyalaridan foydalanish zaruratini kuchaytirmoqda. Shu sababli
kommutatsiya usullarining samaradorligini o‘rganish va ularni taqqoslash zamonaviy
kompyuter tarmoqlarining muhim ilmiy-amaliy masalalaridan biri hisoblanadi.
