Abstract

This article explores the prevalent stressors encountered in the field of dentistry,
an occupation widely recognized for its high levels of psychological and physical
demands. The study analyzes various stress factors, ranging from clinical performance
anxiety and patient management issues to the physical strain of ergonomic constraints.
Furthermore, it examines the long-term implications of chronic stress, such as
professional burnout, and discusses the importance of implementing coping
mechanisms and mental health support systems within the dental community. The
findings emphasize that addressing these stressors is essential not only for the well
being of the practitioner but also for maintaining high standards of patient care.
