Abstract

This study focuses on mélange, olistostrome, and other chaotic complexes of 
different genetic origins developed in the Central Kyzylkum, Auminza–Tamdytau, and 
Bukantau areas. The structural composition of the mélanges, the different ages and 
genetic origins of the rock fragments constituting them, the relationships between the 
matrix and olistoliths, and the characteristics of tectonic deformation were analyzed.
