Abstract

Automated translation and holographic imaging are rapidly 
developing technologies for processing and presenting complex information. 
Automated translation applies computational linguistics, artificial intelligence and 
neural networks to transform text or speech from a source language into a target 
language. Holographic imaging uses coherent light, interference and diffraction to 
record and reconstruct three-dimensional optical wavefronts. This article reviews 
machine translation architectures, neural machine translation, Transformer models, 
tokenization, attention, quality evaluation and human post-editing. It also explains the 
physical principles of holography, digital holography, computer-generated 
holography, reconstruction methods and three-dimensional display technologies. 
Illustrated terminology, practical applications, technical limitations, security issues 
and future integration with artificial intelligence are discussed.
