This article examines the modern trends, structural
transformations, and development prospects of institutional reforms across the Central
Asian countries (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan).
Utilizing a mixed-methods approach that combines comparative historical analysis of
post-Soviet transitions with qualitative assessment of contemporary economic and
governance indicators, the study evaluates how these nations are pivoting from rigid
administrative-command

toward
market-compatible
governance,
digitalization, and regional economic integration.
