This article explores the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on student learning
in education. It examines both the advantages and disadvantages of AI use from a
student’s perspective. The benefits of AI include increased learning efficiency,
personalized learning, and improved access to educational resources. However, issues
such as overreliance on AI, ethical concerns, academic dishonesty, and privacy risks
identified as major challenges. The paper also highlights the role of students in using
AI responsibly and developing critical thinking skills. Overall, the study emphasizes
that AI can enhance learning when used thoughtfully, but it should complement, rather
than replace, independent intellectual effort.
