THE ROLE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING ENGLISH: MODERN METHODS AND THEIR EFFECTIVENESS IN LANGUAGE LEARNING

This article examines the role of digital technologies in teaching
English and analyzes their significance and effectiveness in the modern educational
process. The rapid development of information and communication technologies has
created new opportunities for foreign language teaching methodology. The article
discusses the impact of online platforms, mobile applications, multimedia tools, and
virtual communication technologies on the process of learning English. Particular
attention is given to the role of digital tools in developing the four main language skills:
listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The study shows that the proper integration
of digital technologies into the educational process increases students’ motivation,
promotes autonomous learning, and significantly improves the overall effectiveness of
language acquisition.
