Ushbu maqolada zamonaviy axborot-kommunikatsiya
texnologiyalari (AKT) sohasida kompyuter tarmoqlarini loyihalash, modellashtirish va
simulyatsiya qilishda Cisco Packet Tracer dasturining o‘rni va ahamiyati ilmiy
pedagogik hamda texnik nuqtai nazardan tahlil qilinadi. Maqolada virtual
laboratoriyalarning ta’lim samaradorligini oshirishdagi afzalliklari, dasturning
funksional imkoniyatlari, real vaqt va simulyatsiya rejimlari o‘rtasidagi farqlar hamda
uning boshqa tarmoq emulyatorlari (GNS3, EVE-NG) bilan qiyosiy tahlili keltirilgan.
Shuningdek, dasturning Internet buyumlari (IoT) va kiberxavfsizlik asoslarini
o‘rgatishdagi yangi imkoniyatlari yoritilgan.
