SPACE EXPLORATION: WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?

Abstract: This article examines why space exploration is important to humanity. It explains how exploring space expands scientific knowledge, advances technologies used in everyday life, and helps us understand Earth, the solar system, and the possibility of life beyond our planet. The article also considers how space research can support international cooperation and help address challenges such as climate change and monitoring natural disasters. While acknowledging concerns about cost and risk, it presents space exploration as a long-term investment in knowledge, innovation, and humanity’s future.
