DEVELOPMENT OF TOURISM IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

This article comprehensively examines the current state and prospects of tourism development in Uzbekistan. It presents in-depth analysis based on academic, practical, and industry-specific sources, covering the country’s diverse tourist resources, progress in infrastructure, government reforms, regional attractiveness, main directions, international cooperation, and digitalization in tourism. The paper highlights the role of tourism in socio-economic, cultural, and environmental growth and proposes recommendations for further sector advancement while summarizing key findings at the end.
