Abstract

The rapid growth of digital communication has significantly increased the use of email systems in both personal and organizational environments. However, email remains one of the primary vectors for cyber attacks such as phishing, malware distribution, ransomware, spoofing, and business email compromise (BEC). Traditional rule-based detection systems are often insufficient in identifying modern and sophisticated email threats due to the evolving nature of cyber attacks. Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning (DL), has emerged as an effective solution for detecting and preventing email-based cyber attacks.
