Abstract

Pronunciation plays a significant role in developing speaking competence and communicative ability in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms. However, many learners experience difficulties in pronouncing unfamiliar English sounds and often lack confidence while speaking. This exploratory action research investigates the effectiveness of interactive pronunciation teaching strategies among 7th-grade EFL learners in a boarding school context. The findings revealed that interactive methods such as games, visual aids, pair work, and group speaking tasks significantly increased students’ motivation, classroom participation, and speaking confidence.
