Abstract

This article explores the didactic potential of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in personalizing the process of teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in higher education. The shortcomings of the traditional "one-size-fits-all" classroom approach are analyzed, and the role of Large Language Models (LLMs) and adaptive learning platforms in meeting students' individual cognitive needs is scientifically substantiated. The study examines the pedagogical effectiveness of AI in immediate formative assessment, differentiated content generation, and enhancing learner autonomy, and provides practical recommendations for integration.
