Abstract

To compare the sensitivity of three clinical scales used to assess facial nerve neuropathy. Methods: House–Brackmann, Sunnybrook and Yanagihara outcomes were analyzed in patients receiving rTMS-based and conventional rehabilitation. Results: Sunnybrook demonstrated strong sensitivity to motor recovery, while Yanagihara was useful for detecting subtle discoordination. House–Brackmann remained practical for severity classification. Conclusion: Combined use of all three scales provides a more complete clinical picture than any single scale.
