Abstract

Teaching English in vocational education institutions is one of the important factors in preparing competitive specialists who meet the requirements of the labor market today. This article analyzes the issues of introducing modern pedagogical technologies and innovative methods in teaching English in vocational education institutions. In particular, the advantages of the communicative approach, the use of information and communication technologies, project-based learning, blended learning, gamification, and English for Professional Purposes (ESP) methods are highlighted. It is also substantiated that these methods help to develop students' language competence, form independent learning skills, and expand the opportunities for effective use of English in professional activities. The results of the study show that the implementation of modern methods in practice serves to improve the quality and efficiency of education.
