Abstract

This article analyzes the pedagogical significance of using gamification elements in the process of teaching English and their impact on educational effectiveness. In the modern education system, one of the important tasks is to increase students' interest in the lesson, develop their independent work skills, and enhance their motivation for learning. Gamification serves to effectively solve these tasks by integrating game mechanisms into the educational process. The article highlights the advantages of gamification tools such as scores, ratings, badges, levels, and interactive tasks in learning English. It also analyzes the role of digital platforms such as Kahoot, Quizizz, Duolingo, and Wordwall in developing students' language competencies. The research results show that gamification elements serve to increase student activity, consolidate knowledge, and improve lesson effectiveness.
