EXPERIENCES IN TEACHING ENGLISH USING CLIL TECHNOLOGY

This article analyzes the theoretical foundations, practical experience and effectiveness of teaching English based on CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) technology. The CLIL approach serves to develop students' not only communicative competence in a foreign language, but also their knowledge of subjects. The article highlights the experiences of using CLIL technology in different countries, its advantages and role in improving the quality of education. It also considers the possibilities of introducing this technology into the education system of Uzbekistan. The results of the study confirm that lessons organized on the basis of CLIL have a positive effect on students' independent thinking, communication skills and in-depth mastery of subjects. The article also substantiates the importance of using modern pedagogical technologies in teaching English.
