Abstract

This article analyzes the use of neologisms and terms in students’ written speech from linguistic, pedagogical, and communicative perspectives within the modern educational process. It highlights the functional characteristics of neologisms, which are considered one of the key factors of language development, and terms, which serve as essential tools of scientific thinking, in written communication. Furthermore, the article theoretically examines the frequency of terminological units in the academic writing of higher education students, their role in the formation of scientific style, and their influence on the quality of written communication. Based on scientific sources, the linguistic nature, formation factors, classification, and significance of neologisms and terms in modern education are discussed.
