ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: ITS ROLE IN EDUCATION AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIETY

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a key driver of transformation in education and societal development. This article examines the role of AI in modern education systems, focusing on personalized learning, enhancement of teaching practices, and optimization of educational management. In addition, the study analyzes the broader impact of AI on societal development, including workforce transformation, social inclusion, and ethical challenges. Special attention is given to research conducted by Uzbek scholars and the national context of Uzbekistan’s digital transformation initiatives, particularly the Digital Uzbekistan – 2030 strategy. The findings indicate that AI, when implemented in a human-centered and ethically responsible manner, can significantly contribute to sustainable educational reform and long-term societal progress.
