Abstract

This study explores student spending patterns using a survey conducted among 21 respondents, consisting of 20 female and 1 male participant. The research investigates weekly expenditure, spending categories, saving behavior, entertainment habits, and changes in financial behavior. In addition, the study integrates findings from previous literature to explain how gender, financial experience, education costs, and social influence affect student spending decisions. The results show that most students spend between 200,000 and 300,000 UZS weekly, with education and food being the dominant expenses. While most students prioritize needs over wants, saving behavior remains inconsistent. The findings highlight the importance of financial literacy and budgeting skills in improving student financial management.
