Abstract

The article provides detailed information on the materials of grease traps and the construction standards used in their manufacture. Grease traps play an important role in the separation of oil and grease residues in the food industry, catering establishments, and wastewater systems. The article analyzes the physicochemical properties, strength, corrosion resistance, and operational efficiency of materials such as stainless steel, polyethylene, fiberglass, and concrete. It also covers the sanitary, environmental, and technical construction standards that apply to the design and installation of grease traps. It is shown that the correct selection of grease trap material ensures long-term operation of the device, reduces maintenance costs, and increases the efficiency of the wastewater system
