Abstract

In this article, we have provided information about the negative impact of oily wastewater generated in catering establishments on the sewage system and the role and functions of grease traps in this system. The article discusses the causes of blockages in pipes, the negative impact on sanitation and the environment. It also provides information about the principle of operation of grease traps, their importance in the initial treatment of wastewater, and their role in increasing the efficiency of the sewage system. In addition, the advantages of modern grease traps and important aspects of their practical application are described.
