Abstract

This article analyzes the current issues of forming AI literacy competence in future English language teachers. The widespread use of artificial intelligence technologies in the educational process requires new knowledge and skills from teachers. The article highlights the content of the concept of AI Literacy, its components and its importance in the training of English language teachers. It also considers the issues of effective use of artificial intelligence tools, development of critical thinking and adherence to the principles of academic integrity. The results of the study show that AI Literacy is an important factor in developing professional competencies of future teachers.
