THE USE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING ENGLISH IN TECHNICAL SCHOOLS

The rapid development of digital technologies has significantly transformed the process of teaching and learning foreign languages, particularly English. In technical schools, where students are prepared for professional and practical fields, the integration of digital tools enhances the effectiveness, accessibility, and quality of English language instruction. This article examines the use of digital technologies in teaching English in technical schools and analyzes their impact on students’ language acquisition, motivation, and communication skills. The study explores various digital tools such as multimedia resources, language learning applications, online platforms, interactive whiteboards, and artificial intelligence-based systems. The findings indicate that digital technologies increase student engagement, support personalized learning, and improve vocabulary acquisition, listening comprehension, and speaking skills. However, challenges such as limited technical infrastructure, insufficient teacher training, and digital distractions are also identified. The article concludes that effective integration of digital technologies in English teaching can significantly improve educational outcomes in technical schools.
