Abstract

In the context of the digital transformation of the economy and intensifying competition, human capital is becoming one of the key factors in the sustainable development of organisations. This article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of establishing an effective system for investing in human capital. A model is proposed for improving organisations’ human capital investment systems, based on a comprehensive approach to the development of professional competencies, digital skills, corporate culture and staff motivation. The model envisages a correlation between investment in employee development, increased employee productivity, innovative activity and the achievement of the organisation’s strategic goals. The implementation of the proposed model is expected to improving the efficiency of human capital utilisation and strengthening the organisation’s competitive advantages in the modern economy.
