IMPROVING TRANSPORT INSURANCE DEVELOPMENT IN UZBEKISTAN: CURRENT CHALLENGES AND PROSPECTS

Abstract

The rapid development of transport infrastructure and logistics services in Uzbekistan has increased the importance of transport insurance as a mechanism for managing transportation risks. Despite ongoing reforms in the insurance sector, transport insurance penetration remains relatively low. This study examines the current state of transport insurance in Uzbekistan, identifies key challenges, and proposes measures for improving the effectiveness of transport insurance services. The research employs comparative, analytical, and descriptive methods. The findings indicate that digital transformation, expansion of insurance products, regulatory modernization, and increased public awareness are essential for strengthening the transport insurance market.
