ADVANTAGES OF USING INTERACTIVE METHODS IN ENGLISH LESSONS

Abstract

This article discusses the pedagogical significance, advantages, and role of using interactive methods in English lessons in developing students' communicative competence. Interactive methods serve to increase students' activity in the lesson process, form independent thinking skills, and develop the ability to communicate freely in a foreign language. The article analyzes the practical significance of such methods as "Brainstorming", "Cluster", "Role playing", "Discussion", and "Pair work". The role of interactive education in increasing the effectiveness of English teaching is also scientifically and theoretically substantiated.
