The effective acquisition of vocabulary is a fundamental aspect of English language learning. Traditional approaches to vocabulary instruction often emphasize memorization and repetition, which may not sufficiently engage learners or ensure long-term retention. This study investigates the effectiveness of interactive games as a pedagogical tool for teaching English vocabulary. The research aims to identify the role of game-based learning in enhancing vocabulary acquisition, student motivation, and classroom participation. A qualitative research methodology based on literature analysis and classroom observations was employed. The findings indicate that interactive games significantly improve vocabulary retention, increase learner engagement, foster communicative competence, and reduce language learning anxiety. The study concludes that integrating interactive games into English language instruction contributes to a more effective and learner-centered educational environment.
