IDENTIFICATION AND EXTRACTION OF RARE METALS

Abstract

Nowadays, rare earth elements and rare metals are strategic resources essential for modern industry. Uzbekistan has a rich mineral base with many elements present. In Kashkadarya, their average content is 5.8 × 10⁻⁵%. Therefore, developing efficient and environmentally friendly extraction technologies is an important scientific task.

The article considers the issues of identifying rare metals found in soil and ore in the Kashkadarya region, studying the physicochemical foundations of their extraction, and developing effective technological solutions. During the study, the mineralogical and chemical composition of ores was analyzed, and the methodology of modern methods and processes used in the extraction of rare elements was presented. The economic efficiency and environmental safety of the developed technology are also substantiated. The results of the study are of great importance for the rational use of regional resources, the development of industry, and the introduction of innovative methods for the processing of rare metals.
