Abstract

This thesis investigates the pedagogical and methodological foundations of utilizing modern information and communication technologies (ICT) and specialized chess software in chess clubs and extracurricular activities. The purpose of the study is to develop a methodology for enhancing the effectiveness of training sessions and students' tactical mastery by systematically integrating computer simulators, electronic databases, and chess platforms into the club's curriculum. The research examines the options for the retrograde analysis of tactical and strategic errors in students' games using the artificial intelligence of chess engines. The findings indicate that the implementation of digital resources significantly activates the club members' capacity for independent research and complex position modeling.
