This thesis examines the integration of innovative pedagogical methodologies into chess lessons within general secondary schools. The purpose of the study is to enhance the development of students' intellectual abilities by combining digital technologies, interactive gaming methods, and elements of problem-based learning into the curriculum. The research analyzes the application of specialized chess software and artificial intelligence platforms during classes. The findings indicate that the innovative approach not only increases students' motivation towards the subject but also significantly develops their logical, strategic, and critical thinking skills.
