Abstract

This article analyzes the clinical course of tonsillopharyngitis caused by group A beta-hemolytic streptococcus in children in the specific climatic conditions of the Surkhandarya region. During the study, the acute onset of the disease, the degree of manifestation of local and general symptoms, and the regional epidemiological situation were studied. The article highlights the problems of differential diagnosis and the importance of timely antibiotic therapy in preventing complications (rheumatism, glomerulonephritis). The results obtained serve as practical recommendations for pediatricians and otolaryngologists of the region.
