This article analyzes aesthetic needs as a cultural-philosophical factor in the formation of ecological consciousness. Aesthetic need is interpreted as the human aspiration to perceive harmony, order, expressiveness and beauty in the surrounding world, while ecological consciousness is understood as a system of knowledge, values and behavioral orientations aimed at protecting nature. The article argues that the perception of natural beauty is not only an emotional experience, but also a moral source of environmental responsibility. If nature is experienced merely as a resource, ecological behavior remains external and formal; if nature is perceived as beauty and value, the individual develops an inner motivation to protect it. The study relies on Uzbek, Russian and English-language scholarly sources on aesthetics, spiritual and moral education, environmental aesthetics and ecological ethics. The research uses socio-philosophical, axiological, comparative and hermeneutic methods. The results show that aesthetic education can strengthen ecological culture through art, literature, national traditions, observation of nature and practical activities connected with environmental care.
