GIS TECHNOLOGIES FOR ASSESSING STATE OF HYDROTECHNICAL CONSTRUCTIONS (the Tuyabugiz Reservoir)
Keywords:
GIS, digital elevation modeling, remote sensing, hydrotechnical constructions, structural evaluation, hydrodynamic modeling, and water infrastructureAbstract
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) play a key role in analyzing the state of hydrotechnical constructions by offering geographical analysis, real-time monitoring, and predictive modeling. This article addresses the application of GIS technology in evaluating the state of dams, canals, reservoirs, and other hydrotechnical facilities. Digital elevation models (DEM) the Tuyaboguz reservoir, hydrodynamic simulations, and remote sensing data can all be combined to improve catastrophe risk management, optimize maintenance plans, and identify structural flaws early.
