This article provides a scientific analysis of the devices employed in automatic water resource management systems in food industry enterprises. Unlike the system design perspective, this work focuses on the instrumentation layer: flow measurement devices (electromagnetic, ultrasonic, and Coriolis flow meters), pressure and level transmitters, water quality analyzers (pH, conductivity, turbidity, dissolved oxygen), control actuators (frequency-controlled pumps, motorized valves, solenoid valves), PLC controllers, and HMI/SCADA platforms. The technical specifications, operating principles, advantages, limitations, and suitability for food-grade environments (hygienic design, CIP compatibility, IP67+ protection) of each device class are evaluated against international standards including EN 1672-2 and 3-A Sanitary Standards. Selection criteria and recommended device combinations for water distribution, CIP, steam supply, and wastewater equalization circuits are presented.
