Abstract

This article investigates the role of artificial intelligence (AI) and Smart Grid technologies in enhancing energy efficiency and optimizing costs in industrial enterprises. The study explores real-time monitoring of energy consumption, forecasting peak load hours, and dynamically managing equipment schedules through AI-driven peak shaving strategies. An energy supply optimization mechanism is proposed using Reinforcement Learning and time-series Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) models to balance grid electricity with renewable energy sources. Practical results demonstrate that implementing AI-based systems can reduce overall energy costs by 22%, decrease peak hour loads by 30%, and significantly reduce the enterprise's carbon footprint by 18%. The article also discusses challenges related to infrastructure modernization, data security, and investment payback periods, alongside viable solutions for developing economies.
