This article explores the role of Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) in developing critical thinking skills among language learners. In modern education, critical thinking has become an essential competence, especially in foreign language learning contexts. The study analyzes how task-based approaches encourage learners to engage in problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical thinking. The paper also discusses practical classroom applications and highlights the effectiveness of TBLT in promoting higher-order thinking skills. The findings suggest that task-based activities not only improve language proficiency but also foster independent and reflective learners.
