EFFECTIVE WAYS TO INCREASE MOTIVATION IN ENGLISH LESSONS

Abstract

This article analyzes effective pedagogical methods for increasing the motivation of students in English lessons. The article examines the types of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, game-based learning (gamification), communicative approach, project method, digital technologies, and ways to form motivation through intercultural communication. The results of the study show that the creation of a favorable psychological environment by the teacher, the use of a person-centered approach, and the use of interactive methods are crucial for creating positive motivation in students.
