THE IMPORTANCE OF GAMING TECHNOLOGIES IN TEACHING ENGLISH

Abstract

This article highlights the importance and effectiveness of using game technologies in the process of teaching English. In modern pedagogical approaches, gamification methods play an important role in increasing student motivation, making the lesson process interesting and interactive. Didactic games, digital platforms and interactive exercises used in teaching English serve to expand students' vocabulary, strengthen grammatical knowledge and develop communicative skills. The article analyzes the types of game technologies, their role in the educational process, their advantages and practical application. It also reveals the importance of the game-based teaching method in developing students' activity and independent thinking. The results of the study show that game technologies are an important innovative tool in the modern education system.
