Abstract

This article discusses hemophilia as a hereditary bleeding disorder caused by deficiencies in specific clotting factors. The paper explores the genetic causes of hemophilia, its types, mechanisms of inheritance, and main clinical complications such as spontaneous bleeding, joint damage, and life-threatening hemorrhages. Special attention is given to modern approaches for prevention of complications, early diagnosis, and supportive treatment aimed at improving quality of life in patients with hemophilia.
