Abstract

This article discusses chickenpox (varicella) as an acute highly contagious viral disease caused by the varicella-zoster virus. The paper examines the causes, transmission routes, clinical manifestations, complications, diagnostic methods, and prevention strategies of the disease. Special attention is given to vaccination, epidemiological features, and measures to reduce the spread of infection in the population.
