Abstract

This article examines hypertension (arterial high blood pressure) as one of the most widespread chronic cardiovascular conditions worldwide. The paper describes the main causes and risk factors of hypertension, its clinical manifestations, possible complications, and modern approaches to treatment and prevention. Special attention is given to lifestyle modification, pharmacological therapy, and early diagnosis as key strategies for reducing cardiovascular risk and improving patient outcomes.
