This article is devoted to the study of semantic features of youth vocabulary in the German and Russian languages. The research examines the processes of semantic transformation, emotional expressiveness, metaphorization, and the influence of anglicisms on modern youth speech. Particular attention is paid to the reinterpretation of lexical meanings and the role of youth vocabulary in contemporary communication. A comparative approach allows identifying both common tendencies and national-specific characteristics of youth language development in German and Russian.
