EFFECTIVE USE OF CHATGPT IN LEARNING ENGLISH: IMPROVING FOUR LANGUAGE SKILLS THROUGH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Abstract

This article explores the effective use of ChatGPT in learning English language skills. The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence technologies has significantly influenced modern education, especially foreign language teaching and learning. ChatGPT, an AI-powered conversational tool developed by OpenAI, provides learners with opportunities to improve the four essential language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The study discusses practical methods of integrating ChatGPT into English learning processes and presents specific examples for each skill. Furthermore, the article analyzes the advantages of AI-assisted language learning, including personalized education, immediate feedback, learner autonomy, and increased motivation. The findings demonstrate that ChatGPT can serve as an effective educational assistant in developing communicative competence and academic language proficiency.
