Abstract

This article examines ontological and metaphysical tendencies in modern Uzbek poetry. The study analyzes how contemporary Uzbek poets explore themes of existence, identity, spirituality, time, and mortality through symbolic and philosophical imagery. Particular attention is devoted to the poetry of Abdulla Oripov and Rauf Parfi, whose works reflect existential anxiety, spiritual searching, and metaphysical contemplation. The article concludes that modern Uzbek poetry combines national literary traditions with contemporary philosophical thought, transforming poetry into a space of deep reflection on human existence.
